About

I am a second-year PhD student in the department of rhetoric and writing at UT Austin. I am interested in systems of digital identification—smart IDs, digital identity authentication, biometrics—and how they govern access and shape notions of belonging. I consider these questions with a variety of methodologies, including new materialisms, process philosophies, and cultural and visual rhetorics.

At UT, I work as a teaching assistant for English literature courses. Before beginning my postgraduate studies, I spent more than five years working in brand strategy, corporate communications, and agency marketing. I have special expertise in B2B branding, marketing, and copywriting.

I live with my dog Nancy Kerrigan in Austin, Texas.
